The Government of Pakistan has launched the PM Electric Bike and Rickshaw Scheme 2025 for the youth. PM Electric Bike scheme has been launched under the New Energy Vehicle Policy 2025-30 under pave.pov.pk. In the first phase of this scheme, subsidy will be provided on 40,000 electric motorcycles and 1,000 electric rickshaws and these electric motorcycles and rickshaws will be given to you without interest on easy terms.

What is PM Electric bike and Rikshaw Scheme
Prime Minister of Pakistan has officially launched the PM Electric Bike Scheme and the PM Electric Rickshaw Scheme for the youth across the country. People from all households in Pakistan are eligible to apply even if you are not a student, you can still submit your application.
Under this scheme, a subsidy of up to Rs. 80,000 will be provided for the purchase of an electric motorcycle. In addition, applicants can get an easy loan of up to Rs. 200,000 on a two-year installment plan for electric bikes. For three-wheeler rickshaws and loader rickshaws, the government will provide a subsidy of up to Rs. 400,000. Applicants can also receive loans of up to Rs. 880,000 on a three-year installment plan for rickshaws.
Online registration for the scheme has already started. You can apply by visiting the official government portal pave.gov.pk. In this article, we will explain the complete registration process and the eligibility criteria in detail.
Eligibility Criteria for pave.gov.pk Registration
The eligibility criteria for applying for the PM Electric Bike and Rickshaw Scheme have also been set by the government. Only those candidates who meet these criteria will be able to complete their registration.
- To apply for this scheme, you must be a Pakistani and have a valid identity card.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- If you are applying for an electric rickshaw or a three-wheeler loader rickshaw, then you must have a license.
- A driving license is not required to apply for an electric motorcycle.
- Priority will be given to poor families, students and women in this program.

How to Apply For PM Electric Bike and Rickshaw Scheme at pave.gov.pk
Applying for the Electric Bike Scheme and Electric Rickshaw Scheme 2025 is very simple. The Government of Pakistan has launched an official online portal (pave.gov.pk) to make the registration process easy and accessible from home. Just follow the steps below:
- Visit the Official Portal
Go to the government’s official website pave.gov.pk. On the homepage, click on the Sign Up option. - Create Your Account
- A registration form will open where you need to provide your correct details, including:
- Full Name
- CNIC Number (Computerized National Identity Card)
- Mobile Number
- Father’s and Mother’s Name
- Residential Address
- After filling in the details, click Sign Up to create your account.

Once the account is created, click on Login. Enter your CNIC number and password to access your personal dashboard. - Fill Out the Application Form
- In the dashboard, click on Apply for Scheme.
- A new form will appear where you must provide:
- Personal information
- Bank details (choose the bank you prefer for financing)
- Vehicle type (Electric Bike, Rickshaw, or Loader)
- Income details (monthly salary/income)
- Guarantor details (including CNIC and contact information)
- Upload Required Documents
- CNIC (front and back copy)
- Recent passport-size photo
- Driving License (mandatory if applying for rickshaw or loader)
- Submit Your Application
After filling in all the details and uploading documents, click on Submit. Your registration will be completed, and you will be added to the e-balloting system for selection.
The pave.gov.pk online registration process is fully digital, ensuring transparency, fairness, and convenience for all applicants.
How Bike and Rickshaw will Distribute
After completing the registration, applicants will need to wait for a few days. The registration process will officially close on 1st October 2025, after which the e-balloting phase will begin. During this phase, a computerized draw will be conducted to select successful candidates.
Those whose names appear in the balloting list will be eligible to receive electric bikes and rickshaws under the PM Electric Bike and Rickshaw Scheme 2025. The distribution will be carried out through designated partner banks, ensuring a transparent and smooth process. Pave Partner Banks
This program will be launched in partnership with selected banks, and applicants will receive loans through these banks. To obtain your electric bike or rickshaw, you must go through the designated partner banks only.
Once you are selected, the concerned bank will contact you directly and guide you through the process of receiving your vehicle. After receiving your bike, you will be required to pay monthly installments back to the same bank.
